On June 2000, we first opened our doors as a Tortilla Factory/Taqueria. Four different types of tacos served with our corn tortillas, and three booths comprised our menu and our seating capacity of twelve. In our wildest dreams did we ever imagine that our Tortillas would fill the shelves of Restaurant Depot, Stadiums such as CitiField, Washington Nationals, and Saratoga Raceway; upscale catering venues by Union Square Events owned by Shake Shack Founder and famous Restaurateur Mr. Danny Meyers.
We can proudly say that we have a well-developed menu, our central concept being the Casual Mexican Restaurant/Tortilleria. Our guests have been greatly diversified. Names such as Mr. Mario Batali’s, Partner Mr. Joe Bastianich, owner of Del Posto, the only four-star Italian restaurant in New York City. When asked by a famous magazine of his place of choice to go eat, Mr. Bastianich, with a portfolio of over thirty restaurants throughout the world mentioned our name. Mr. Godfrey, a multiple restauranteur has specially attended our establishment with his family for our tacos. The New York Times, Journal News, Westchester Magazine, Lo Hud, 914inc and Chanel 12 local news have portrayed us in numerous interviews and stories.
Our guests, including corporate as well as laborers greatly enjoy blasting Corridos, Nortenas, Banda, Balad and Narco Corridos songs on the jukebox. We have been acclaimed to be one of the most authentic Mexican Restaurants around, and we will strive to continue in this direction. The Japanese are successfully known for cooking in front of their guests with Sushi. The wood grill in our open style kitchen brings authenticity for the Carne Asada (Mexican Style BBQ). Society is moving towards healthier eating habits, and our food is done on premise, with fresh ingredients
and from scratch.
